Meet the Busiest Little Babies on the Block: Bizzy Bubs by Moose Toys

When my daughter decided she was no longer a baby herself, transitioning into a caretaker role was an important process in her development. I watched as she elected to be the parent during dramatic play sessions with her younger brother who ultimately played the part of "baby" each and every time. Big sisters have a knack for that. But when brother decided that he too was no longer a baby, we scoured the toy aisles for a reasonable substitute, but nothing could live up to brother and sister's expectations until we met the Bizzy Bubs.

There are six unique Bizzy Bubs dolls brought to you by Moose Toys: Gracie, Snowbeam, Poppy, Swirlee, Primmy, and Polly Petals (shown left to right in the image above). In addition to having some BIG personalities, each Bizzy Bubs doll drinks from a bottle, sucks on a pacifier, babbles, and performs a special action such as bouncing, crawling, walking, or playing Peek-a-Boo. And if you listen closely enough, you may even catch a fart, and that will surely elicit some giggles if your children are anything like mine!

I invited some Macaroni Kid families to join me in welcoming these new dolls with a fun and festive baby shower. Twelve children, along with their parents, interacted with the dolls, designed their own Bizzy Bubs diapers, and played a round of Place the Pacifier on the Bizzy Bubs Doll. Smiles filled the room, and I'm sure I heard at least half of the kids ask their parents if they could have another one. For those that said "yes," Bizzy Bubs can be found at Walmart, Target, Toys R Us, and on Amazon.com. *You're welcome.*
