In partnership with the Colorado Department of Education, State Library, and local library systems, Colorado Parks and Wildlife is encouraging Coloradans to get outside through the "Check Out State Parks" Backpack Program.
Each participating library has two activity backpacks containing all you need to access Colorado State Parks for FREE. In addition to a State Park access pass, backpacks include binoculars, a wildlife viewing guide, a Colorado bird guide, a tree and wildflower identification guide, a star guide, park brochures, a suggested activities list, and other educational materials.
