Coats for Colorado was the very first coat drive in the country. Since its creation in 1982, Coats for Colorado has had a remarkable impact on our community by collecting, cleaning, and distributing millions of coats in the Denver metro area.
Every coat makes a difference in the lives of fellow Coloradans, and YOU can get involved in the #CoatsForCO initiative by sorting through coats in your closets and/or shopping for new outerwear.
What's in your closet?
Coats are a must-have for Colorado winters, but not everyone has access to such important outerwear. Are you storing coats that you no longer enjoy or have outgrown? Have you stumbled upon an incredible deal on jackets at a local department store? Consider donating used coats or purchasing new ones for those in need this winter season.
How can you help?
Drop off gently worn or new winter coats and jackets in designated boxes at partnering facilities and help others stay warm this winter. Coats are being collected for men, women, and children.
You can drop off coats during normal business hours at any Dependable Cleaners location between October 1 and November 30. Coats will be cleaned and then distributed by non-profit organizations.
