The Christmas season always brings out my inner child, so you can only imagine how giddy I was to find out that IHOP introduced a brand new holiday menu inspired by The Elf on the Shelf. The Elf on the Shelf menu is available for a limited time, now through January 1, 2020.

Like many families, we have our very own Scout Elf. Every year we welcome him into our home with a special breakfast and a note for Santa Claus.

Our friends at IHOP are joining in the fun with #ScoutElfReturnWeek which starts on Friday, November 29th and goes through Sunday, December 1st. Families can visit participating IHOP locations for the world's largest Welcome Back Breakfast to receive a special elf-themed activity sheet with their meal.

The Elf on the Shelf menu puts a holiday twist on classic dishes. You'll find green, fluffy pancakes (Jolly Cakes), crispy, fruit-topped funnel cakes (Oh What Funnel Cakes), savory, belly-warming omelettes (Holiday Ham & Sausage Omelette - my personal favorite!), and cozy, festively sprinkled hot cocoa (Merry Marshmallow Hot Chocolate).

Great news for families! Now through January 1, 2020, kids 12 and under EAT FREE with every purchase of one adult entrée every day from 4-10 PM. Yes, this includes items from The Elf on the Shelf menu!
