Help Empower Local Children in Need With A Precious Child

Match 4 Mission Empower campaign taking place through March 31st

March 2, 2021

Match 4 Mission Empower is A Precious Child’s annual fund campaign that will take place from February 16th through March 31st.

Children in need often don't have access to basic items, such as diapers, warm coats, backpacks, and school supplies - items they need to thrive at home, school, and play.

According to the 2019 American Community Survey, nearly 88,000 children in A Precious Child's eight-county service area live below the Federal Poverty Level. In reality, the need is so much greater, as over 250,000 kids in these communities live below the Colorado Self-Sufficiency Standard.

Because of our generous donors, in 2020 we were able to provide services to 57,390 children, but that leaves nearly 200,000 who still need our help.

Our annual campaign is called “#Match4MissionEmpower” and is a social play to raise awareness around individual donors and fundraising pages.

To kick off the campaign, community leaders have stepped up to establish a special matching gift fund of $500,000 to challenge and inspire others to support A Precious Child’s life-changing programs.

That means that, dollar for dollar, your donation to the Match 4 Mission Empower campaign benefiting A Precious Child will be matched up to $500,000!

Anyone can sign up to be a solo fundraiser or to host a team fundraising page, set their own fundraising goals, and share via social media platforms to raise awareness.

The community’s support and commitment power every aspect of our mission. That is why we need your support now more than ever to help us further our impact and fulfill our 2021 Match 4 Mission Empower goal. By participating in this campaign, you are joining us in our mission to provide opportunities and resources to empower even more children to achieve their full potential. Help us provide disadvantaged children with “Cradle to Career” support to break the cycle of poverty so we can continue to envision a future where every child grows up to be a secure, self-reliant, contributing member of their community.
