So cute and easy to make!

Need a super simple treat for a school Easter party or family celebration? Refrigerated sugar cookie dough and Easter candies come together for a sweet treat that doesn't take much time yet looks great on your cookie tray!

What you need:
  • Prepared sugar cookie dough (Make it easy on yourself and grab a tube from the refrigerator section at the store!)
  • Icing colored with green food coloring
  • "Candy Eggs" (Suggestions include "Speckled Eggs" M&Ms, Cadbury Mini Eggs, Jelly Beans, etc.)
What you do:
  1. Grease a mini muffin pan (or spray with Pam or similar product).
  2. Roll cookie dough into small balls (a heaping tablespoon works great!) and place one ball into each "muffin" space.
  3. Bake at 350 degrees for about 10 minutes or until cookies appear done.
  4. As soon as you remove from oven, use the end of a utensil that is rounded to gently press in an indentation on each cookie, making a "nest."
  5. Wait a few minutes and then remove from pan before they cool completely. If your cookies want to stick (which they may!), gently slide a butter knife around the edges of each nest and lift it out carefully. Allow to cool completely.
  6. Once cooled, using a piping bag (or sandwich bag with end cut off) and squeeze a little icing into each nest to look like grass.
  7. Add the candy eggs and your nests are ready to share!
