3rd Annual Earth Day River Clean-Up for Englewood & Littleton Families

April 6, 2021

Between April 12 and April 25, volunteers can join South Platte Renew (SPR) and the cities of Littleton and Englewood to collect trash from their own neighborhoods. This year's DIY approach is encouraging residents to expand the focus beyond South Platte River to include parks, lakes, and other community gathering spaces.

This year's goal is to collect 100 bags of trash or recycling over the two-week period.

How to get involved:

  • Select a location that's meaningful to you and your family.
  • Optional: Register online for this event to be eligible for prizes.
  • Pick up trash bags (one per person) from SPR.
  • Review the Volunteer Safety Checklists for proper handling of materials.
  • Collect trash and debris in your neighborhood between April 12th and 25th.
