Have you ever wanted to get out of town without actually leaving town? I know the feeling! As ready as I am to travel again, I'm not sure I want to wander too far from home. That's just one of the many reasons why Gaylord Rockies Resort is THE perfect place to get away this summer.

Getting There

Conveniently located minutes away from Denver International Airport, Gaylord Rockies Resort is right around the corner, so whether you choose to vacation with just your household members or meet up with flying travelers, Gaylord Rockies Resort is easily accessible for locals and out-of-state visitors alike.

Exploring the Resort

In addition to its year-round amenities such as a heated indoor pool, Relâche Spa, on-site restaurants, and picturesque mountain views, Gaylord Rockies Resort invites guests to enjoy a Summer of More, an immersive family experience with pirate and princess themed encounters.

We woke up early to hunt for hidden treasure and stayed up late to roast marshmallows, and you can too! Guests of all ages can find their family fun inside and outside the resort, any time of day.

Splashing Around

Even with all the special themed attractions throughout the resort, nothing beats the pools. Gaylord Rockies’ Arapahoe Springs is home to a relaxing 720-foot-long lazy river, multiple waterslides, toddler-friendly water features, and a pirate-themed pool party.

With shallow pools (none exceeding 4 ft deep) and on-staff lifeguards, I felt more than comfortable taking my novice swimmers to experience the resort's water fun with confidence. Our whole family enjoyed riding the water slides again and again and again!

The resort’s Summer of More package starts at $284 per night and includes a one-night stay, two scavenger hunt books, two s’mores kits, and a $25 food and beverage credit.
