History Colorado offers free memberships to all Colorado fourth-grade students and their families. Registration is open now at h-co.org/4thgrade and closes on September 30.
Designed to support learning our state's history through their fourth-grade curriculum, the History Buff program includes admission to seven History Colorado museums for students and their families (two adults and up to three additional children), a free child ticket to the Georgetown Loop Historic Mining & Railroad Park® with the purchase of an adult ticket (one-time use only), and discounts on programs and camps.
Once you become a member, make your reservation to visit any of the following museums:
- History Colorado Center (Denver)
- Center for Colorado Women's History (Denver)
- El Pueblo History Museum (Pueblo)
- Fort Garland Museum & Cultural Center (San Luis Valley)
- Healy House Museum & Dexter Cabin (Leadville)
- Trinidad History Museum (Trinidad)
- Ute Indian Museum (Montrose)
All Colorado students entering fourth grade in the 2023-2024 school year, including homeschool equivalent students, are eligible for the History Buff program. Membership is valid through July 31, 2024.
