For back-to-school season, we visit Sam's Club not just for school supplies, lunch foods, and household goods, we find excitement in the shopping adventure itself.

Five Things My Family Loves about Sam's Club
From the moment you enter Sam's Club to the time you check out, there are hands-on experiences to explore around every corner. Here are just a few of our favorite Sam's Club amenities:
1. Freeosk: This vending machine for free samples is always our first stop. You can scope out the freebies online ahead of time, or you can enjoy the element of surprise as we do during our visits. New product samples are available each week.
2. Food Samples: I like to shop with an open mind at Sam's Club because there always seem to be new products to try. My favorite new finds are usually in the freezer section and this is often where Sam's Club employees are set up with free food and drink samples. I appreciate the "try before you buy" concept, especially for family-size meals that would make for easy school week dinners.
3. Baked Goods: Special events call for special desserts. My family enjoys browsing the dessert counter and flipping through the cake customization binder. In addition to custom orders, Sam's Club offers an assortment of delicious, high-quality, ready-made items that are suitable for a variety of celebrations. Plan ahead (or swing by on a whim) for birthdays, school fundraising events, holiday parties, and other special occasions.
4. Scan & Go™ Shopping: My kids LOVE to scan barcodes. Scan & Go™ shopping lets you use your smart device to scan items as you shop. Pay when you're done shopping and skip the checkout lines entirely. This has been a great learning experience for my kids as they help me work around a budget and help calculate our spending.
5. Snacks/Lunch: When visiting Sam's Club, we like to leave room for an after-shopping snack. The Sam's Club Cafe offers a variety of hot and cold treats including hot dogs, pretzels, churros, and frozen yogurt. We like to order pizza by the slice, but if you're shopping with a large group, you can even purchase a full 16" pizza to share.
