* When it comes to solving crimes, maggots are our friends! Not only are they an integral part of crime scene investigations, but they offer a basic introduction to the life cycle of insects. The Coroner’s Office gets its maggots from a fishing supply store and they are not harmed as they only use non-toxic water-based paint.
