Give Back: Donate Socks to Help Those Experiencing Homelessness

Did you know that socks are the #1 clothing need for those experiencing homelessness? Join Colorado residents to help collect new socks for men, women, and children this holiday season.


GREENWOOD VILLAGE

This year's goal is to collect 10,000 pairs of socks- any size or style as long as they are NEW. There will be sock donation bins set up at 3 Greenwood Village locations:

  • City Hall: 6060 S Quebec St
  • Maintenance Facility: 10001 E Costilla Ave
  • The Curtis Center for the Arts: 2349 E Orchard Rd

Donations of NEW socks are accepted at these Greenwood Village locations from November 15 through January 10, 2022.


CENTENNIAL

The City of Centennial is accepting new socks of all sizes to benefit the Sock It To ‘Em Campaign, a Denver nonprofit serving local homeless shelters. Sock donations will be accepted at the following locations:

Centennial Civic Center: 13133 E Arapahoe Rd
Collection Hours: 8 a.m.— 5 p.m., Monday – Friday

Centennial Public Works facility: 7272 S Eagle St
Collection Hours: 8 a.m.— 5 p.m., Monday – Friday

Cakeheads Bakery: 7530 S University Blvd #150
Collection Hours: 10 a.m.— 6 p.m., Monday – Saturday

Metrum Community Credit Union: 6980 S Holly Cir
Collection Hours: 9 a.m.— 5 p.m., Monday – Friday; Saturday (9 a.m.—Noon)

The Village Workspace: 7173 S Havana St #600
Collection Hours: 8 a.m.— 5 p.m., Monday – Friday

Centennial Hospital: 14200 E Arapahoe Rd
Collection Hours: 24 hours

Donations of NEW socks are accepted at these Centennial locations now through December 17, 2021.
