While there are tons of family-fun events and activities happening right here in Englewood, Greenwood Village, and Centennial, we've rounded up our top 5 publisher picks (including local fun and events worth the drive) to help make your weekend plans a bit easier.

Friday, February 23: πŸΏ Kids Dream Family Film Series: PAW Patrol: The Mighty Movie

  • Location: Movie Tavern | Aurora
  • With the coldest days of the year ahead of us, now's the time for some indoor fun. The Kids Dream Family Film Series is an opportunity for movie-loving families to see nine fantastic films on the big screen for only $3+tax per person at participating Marcus Theatres and Movie Tavern locations.
  • $3+tax per person or $15 for a Kids Dream Passport (which includes access to all 9 movies in the series)

Saturday, February 24: πŸ¦Ί Public Safety Day (All Ages)

  • Location: Exploration of Flight | Englewood
  • Meet public safety heroes, including firefighters and search and rescue responders, and learn about their roles in keeping the community safe. Check out firetrucks, rescue vehicles, air ambulances, and safety equipment up close. Bring the whole family out for a fun and educational day!

Saturday, February 24: 🎾 Tennis Fun Days: Red Ball (Ages 4-7)

  • Location: Englewood Recreation Center | Englewood
  • Set your child up with a match for life. Children will play with mini-nets and bigger tennis balls. Come for the tennis, music, prizes, and fun!

Sunday, February 25: πŸ›οΈ SCFD Free Day at Denver Museum of Nature & Science

  • Location: Denver Museum of Nature & Science | Denver
  • Satisfy your science curiosity in a safe environment during SCFD Free Days. Walk up anytime during Free Days or Free Nights and gain access to the Wildlife Halls or permanent exhibitions. 
  • FREE! A separate ticket is required if you'd like to visit the planetarium, the brand-new Infinity Theater, or exhibits requiring an additional ticket purchase.

Sunday, February 25: 🌟 2024 Macaroni KID Summer Camp Fair & Kids' Activities Expo

  • Location: DCSD Legacy Campus (formerly the Wildlife Experience) | Lone Tree
  • This one-stop event gives families the opportunity to meet with the best summer camps, kids' activities, local attractions, and more in and near Douglas County.
  • The event is FREE and open to the public, but pre-registration is encouraged! Registered attendees will be entered to win a $200 gift certificate for the participating camp or activity of their choice. The first 200 families will receive an event goody bag (one per family).
