Lace up those running shoes and head outside. Why? Because the Healthy Kids Running Series (HKRS) is returning to Denver this spring for 5 weeks of family-friendly fun!

The Schedule:
- Spring races take place at Rosamond Park at 8051 E Quincy Avenue in Denver, CO.
- Spring 2022 dates include Sundays, April 10 - May 22. Races start at 3pm.
The Races:
The weekly races offer age-appropriate (pre-k through 8th grade) running events:
- 2 & 3 year olds - 50 yard dash
- 4 & 5 year olds - 75 yard dash
- Kindergarten & 1st grade - 1/4 mile
- 2nd & 3rd grade - 1/2 mile
- 4th & 5th grade - 1 mile
- 6th to 8th grade - 1 mile
The Gear & Prizes:
Every child who signs up will receive a tech t-shirt, racing bibs each week, and a finishers' medal.
Kids compete each week of the series for a chance to earn points. At the end of the series, the top boy and girl with the most points in their age division receives a trophy. It doesn't matter how fast or slow you run because all participants receive a finishers' medal for their achievements.
The Registration:
An early-bird registration fee of $35 covers the entire five (5) week series and is non-refundable. After March 30th, the cost is $40. To get started, register online.
