Embrace your imagination and engage in activities that celebrate a whimsical and magical world! June 24 is International Fairy Day!

Fairies are deeply rooted in the folklore and mythology of various cultures, often depicted as tiny, supernatural beings with magical powers. They are commonly associated with nature, forests, and elements of the natural world.

We have five fun ways to celebrate International Fairy Day on June 24 — or anytime you long to enter the enchanting realm of fairies!

1. Dress up!

Wings, glitter, sparkles, and flowers... aren't fairies the most glamorous creatures?

Creating a simple fairy outfit can be a fun and imaginative activity. Visit your local craft store for decorative ribbons, sparkly face paint, and artificial flowers to make a wreath. You can buy a pair of wings or create your own using wire and sheer fabric.

2. Make a fairy house.

Legend has it that building a tiny house in your yard might attract a fairy or gnome. Create a little home for magical creatures using materials you can find in your own backyard.
