National Night Out (NNO) is an annual event started in1984. The goal of NNO is to create a sense of community and to promote crime prevention and safety awareness. This is also a great opportunity to meet neighbors, get to know local law enforcement officers, and work together to make the Englewood, Greenwood Village, and Centennial communities a safer place.
In the 40 years since it's inception, 38 million people across 17,000 communities have come together on the first Tuesday of August to take part in National Night Out events such as block parties, festivals, parades, cookouts, and various other community events.
