Immersive, Larger-Than-Life 12-Acre Lantern Festival with New Theme, Sculptures and Experiences

Bright Nights at Four Mile Historic Park, Denver’s original lantern festival experience, returns to Denver this summer. Offering a mesmerizing blend of art by day and luminescent magic by night in partnership with Tianyu Arts and Culture, this year unveils new themes that invites guests to wander through the whimsical Farmhouse Flora and Fauna, step into a surreal Chinese Dreamland and dive into an expanded interactive zone full of surprises. More than 40 stunning new sculptures transform Four Mile Historic Park’s 12 acres into a luminous wonderland, filled with breathtaking, larger-than- life pieces that captivate visitors of all ages.

Lantern Highlights This Year Include: 

  • The 23-foot-tall cherry blossom gate

  • A massive 65-foot-long wheat farm

“We’re proud to continue Denver’s original lantern festival for a third year, with a brand-new, even more immersive experience for our guests  and members,” said Jennifer LaGraff, CEO of Four Mile Historic Park.  “Every possible inch of the Park will be covered in lanterns. From the  moment guests enter through a massive tunnel of enchanting Chinese  fairies, it’s a choose-your-own-adventure style of exploration with  must-see lanterns and interactive experiences.”


Food and Concessions
Provided each evening by Big Belly Brother’s BBQ, including a Bites and Delights Bundle that features a choice of brisket or pulled pork sandwich, chicken tenders, cheeseburger, Impossible burger or all-beef hot dog; a side of waffle fries, mac and cheese, baked beans or potato salad; a Pepsi drink and a glow toy. Additional alcohol, soft drinks and water are also available for purchase. 

On Fridays and Saturdays, guests can enjoy shaved ice from Kona Ice of Hampden, and hot, fresh churros from The Aguilar Four. 

Adults-Only Nights 
On Wednesdays, July 30, August 27 and September 17, with DJs, additional sponsor activations and more. Perfect for date nights or outings with friends, Adult Nights offer the chance to sip, stroll through the glow of magical lights and enjoy live music kid-free. Adult Night guests must be 21+ to enter. 

Tickets 
Range from $19 to $48. Proceeds from the 11-week installation support educational programs, signature events, animal care, and the preservation of the Four Mile House Museum, the oldest standing structure in Denver.

About Four Mile Historic Park
Four Mile Historic Park is a gateway to Denver’s Western heritage, offering a vibrant 12-acre oasis with a working farm and Denver’s oldest standing structure, the Four Mile House Museum. The museum houses an extensive collection of mid to late 1800s western artifacts, serving educational, historical, curatorial and research purposes, and Four Mile welcomes visitors to explore the cultural history, gardens and grounds of the property, with ample space to stroll, enjoy a picnic, visit the resident farm of horses, goats, chickens and pigs, and step back in Ime.
