Fishers Peak State Park

On October 30, 2020, Colorado Parks and Wildlife celebrated the official ribbon-cutting ceremony to open Colorado's 42nd state park.

Fishers Peak state park is officially open to the public! While you can't climb the iconic mountain just yet, 250 acres of the 19,200-acre park are open daily from sunrise to sunset. The park will continue to be developed in the coming years.

Visitors will have access to:

  • One parking lot with space for approximately 92 vehicles
  • Two vault toilets
  • Five picnic tables in a scenic spot
  • A gentle ¾-mile trail
  • Gorgeous scenic views
