Description
Colorado Skies Academy is a 6th-8th grade aerospace-focused middle school. Come for an event and check out the school!
Public charter, tuition-free, open enrollment, small class sizes, not homework heavy.
- June 21: STEM Challenge Station – Think like a STEMist and join us for an evening of hands-on design thinking to solve real-world problems! Learn about the requirements and specifications for laser cutting and fabricate a custom design to take home.
- June 28: STEM Challenge Station – Enjoy an evening with hands-on STEM Challenge Stations. Design, create, build, and generate lots of STEM!
- July 11: Fly Into the Danger Zone – Climb into the virtual cockpit, complete with joysticks, pedals, multiple screens, and projections!
- July 18: Rocketry Blast Off! – Get ready to blast off into all things aerospace. Put your knowledge to the test by designing, building, and launching paper plates and rockets!
- July 25: Rocket Engineering – Be a rocket scientist for a night! Design, develop, and test rockets and spacecraft. Explore propulsion systems and the system integration required to launch rockets!
