Clubs, Groups, and Troops for Families in the Denver Tech Center

Helen Keller once said, "Alone we can do so little; Together we can do so much." With a vast variety of groups, troops, and organizations in the Denver Tech Center, we have the opportunity to make that happen.

Create something positive as a community in an established group, or gather your own tribe and pioneer a new chapter. Groups are listed below in alphabetical order.


4-H

Kids of all ages explore hands-on learning in a variety of topics such as health, science, agriculture, and civic engagement.


American Heritage Girls

AHG is a Christ-centered leadership ministry for girls, ages 5-18. Its mission is to "build women of integrity through service to God, family, community, and country." 


America's Battle of the Books

Battle of the Books is a voluntary reading incentive program where kids in 3rd through 12th grade form teams to compete in literacy competitions around a set collection of grade-appropriate books.


AmeriCorps

AmeriCorps is a program that brings Americans of ALL ages together to serve local communities through education, economic opportunities, disaster relief, environmental projects, and more!


Awana

A church-based club for kids as young as 2 years old and up through high school, Awana clubs include Bible education, small group ministry, and interactive activities for six different age groups.


Boy Scouts of America

The Boys Scouts of America mission is to "prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law." Boys Scouts programs are offered for kids as young as kindergarten and up age 20.


Boys & Girls Club, Metro Denver

Kids ages 6 to 18 are provided a safe, supportive, fun, and enriching environment that inspires and empowers them to achieve their greatest potential.


Denver Math Club

Elementary and middle school students are invited to this FREE club that helps prepare students for math competitions including MATHCOUNTS and the American Math Competitions (AMC 8).


First Lego League Colorado

Kids, ages 6-10, are teamed up in groups of six to explore science, technology, and engineering through hands-on LEGO programming.


Girl Scouts of Colorado

Girl Scouts programs encourage youth to discover their strengths and rise to meet new challenges. The Girl Scouts mission is to build girls of courage, confidence, and character, who make the world a better place. Programs are offered for kindergarten through 12th grade.


Junior Solar Sprint

Middle school students in 5th through 8th grade are tasked with creating the fastest, most interesting, and best crafted solar vehicle possible.


Kiwanis

Kiwanis International is an organization that serves children across the globe with approximately 150,000 annual service projects and more than 19 million hours of service from its members as a whole.


Mothers of Preschools (MOPS & MOMSnext)

MOPS is a faith-based organization for mothers of children newborn through preschool. MOPSnext is a community group for moms of elementary school-aged children. Childcare is typically available while parents meet.


National Charity League, Inc.

NCL is an organization of 7th-12th graders, along with their moms, working towards philanthropy, leadership development, and cultural experiences.


Navigators USA

As a family-based scouting organization, Navigators USA brings the whole family together to strengthen communities, improve the planet, and promote peace.


Outdoor Service Guides

Formerly known as Braden-Powell Service Association, OSG is an inclusive, outdoors-focused scouting organization for boys and girls, ages 2 and up with a special program just for members ages 18+.


Quest Club

Quest Club is a secular organization suitable for boys and girls, ages 3 and up, Quest is a flexible scouting style program that offers more than 1,000 badges in a wide range of topics.


Royal Rangers

Royal Rangers is a faith-based ministry for boys in Kindergarten through 12th grade. The group's mission is to evangelize, equip, and empower the next generation of Christlike men and lifelong servant leaders.


Trail Life USA

Trail Life USA is a faith-based organization for boys in Kindergarten through 12th grade that guides generations of young men to honor God, lead with integrity, serve others, and experience outdoor adventure.
