Designed for year-round family-friendly enjoyment, Centennial Center Park includes hours of fun for children of all ages. Enjoy one of three climbing walls, two expansive, age-appropriate play areas, and the Nautilus water play area in the center of the park.

Centennial Center Park is equipped with everything for your family or company outing. The outdoor amphitheater features a covered stage and is the ideal spot for concerts, events, and meetings with a capacity of approximately 5,000. The Park features restrooms, picnic tables, six barbeque grills, convenient trash receptacles, parking, and bike racks. 

This park is not just a place to play, but also a place to learn. The “Colorado Statehood Walk” displays interesting facts about Colorado, while the “Viewfinder Walk” is an interactive trivia challenge that takes visitors on a quest throughout the Park– highlighting unique points of interest both inside and outside of the Park.

PARKING

  • Large parking lot available from East Peakview Avenue.

FEATURES

  • 2 separate playgrounds to accommodate a wide range of playing skills
  • Big kid area has a playground that looks like a treehouse
  • Rope obstacle course and large climbing net structure
  • Swings: Baby swings, regular swings, and disc swings
  • Musical instruments throughout the big kid area
  • Multiple sand play areas (including one with excavators)
  • Playground ground covering is a poured rubber mat throughout the toddler area and mulch throughout the big kid area
  • Splash pad area (open Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day, 10:00am - 8:00pm)
  • Amphiteater (which hosts large events throughout the year; find out more here)

SEATING

  • Various picnic tables, boulders, and benches throughout the park
  • Multiple covered shelters for special events and large gatherings
    • Make a reservation here
  • Fireplaces available at covered shelter areas
  • BBQ grills are available at covered shelter areas
  • Some tables are shaped like animals (including a turtle and butterfly)

AMENITIES

  • Full-size bathroom located near the splash pad area. This is currently under construction. Renovations are underway to expand the bathroom facility. Construction will continue through May. Portable toilets are temporarily located near the park entrance.
  • Drinking fountains are located at the bathroom building

TRAILS

  • No trail system from Centennial Center Park
