Located on 8+ acres, Jason Park offer unique features for climbers, dinosaur lovers, and sports enthusiasts. And it's not just for humans... Dog owners can rejoice over this off-leash dog park! No, there aren't play structures for our canine companions, but there's plenty of field space to roam and run.
PARKING
- Parking lot available from South Jason Street
- Curbside parking is also available along South Jason Street and W Quincy Avenue
FEATURES
- Multiple play structures to accommodate a wide range of playing skills/styles
- Toddler structure is limited to a set of stairs and a small slide
- Various climbing apparatuses including a rock wall and metal ladder arches
- Spinning metal structure
- Two ride-on spring dinosaurs
- Swings: 2 baby swings and 6 regular swings
- Playground ground covering is pea gravel
- Full-size Basketball court, Baseball field, Soccer goals, and multipurpose fields
- Per the City of Englewood, here are some guidelines for use of the off-leash dog park:
- Dog owner must carry a leash
- Dog owner must keep dog(s) out of playground and shelter areas
- Dog owner must pick up after his/her dog(s)
- Dogs may remain off-leash and under voice control during the following times:
- March 1 - October 6: 6AM-11AM & 6PM-11PM
- November 1 - February 29: 6AM-11PM
- Dogs must be leashed at ALL other times. Violations may be reported to Police Dispatch at 303-762-2438
- Benches around the playground area
- Covered shelter with 4 tables (and another uncovered table near the off-leash dog park area)
- Grills available at the covered shelter area
- Full-size bathroom located conveniently near the playground
- A drinking fountain is located at the bathroom building
- Dog bag dispensers are near the parking lot at the off-leash dog area
- No trails begin from Jason Park.
