Belleview Park

If you're looking for a park with more than just your average playground, Belleview Park is the one to visit! Special features include a petting zoo, miniature train ride, creek, and numerous picnic areas. 

PARKING

  • Parking lot available from South Inca Drive (for closest access to the playground)
  • Additional parking lot accessible from West Belleview Avenue. Park here for closer access to the farm, train, and creek. Keep in mind that this parking lot is connected to the parking lot for Pirates Cove Family Fun Aquatic Center and may be impacted during swim season.

FEATURES

  • 2 separate playgrounds to accommodate a wide range of playing skills
  • Swings are located in the big kid playground area: No baby swings, 4 regular swings, and 1 handicap accessible swing
  • Playground ground covering is a mulch throughout
  • Full-size Basketball Court, 4 Tennis Courts, Baseball Field, and large grass areas suitable for other sports
  • Splash around in the creek on those hot summer days. There are several access points throughout the park. Don't forget a towel!
  • Unlike other parks, you can find a little farm here! For a small fee, you can visit the animals in an up-close and personal experience. Open Memorial Day through Labor Day.
  • Typically open from Memorial Day through Labor Day, visitors can ride the Belleview train that loops through the park. Purchase tickets for a minimal fee (subject to change at any time). Tickets are free for children under 2.
    • Tuesday-Saturday 10am-4pm
    • Sunday 11am-4pm

  • Benches around the playground area
  • Covered shelter with 24 tables at the playground area
  • Another covered shelter closer to the farm area
  • Several uncovered tables throughout the park
  • Grills available throughout the park

AMENITIES

  • Full-size bathroom conveniently located near the playgrounds
  • Full-size bathroom also located near the creek on the other side of the park
  • Drinking fountains are located at the bathroom building
TRAILS
  • Walk along the Big Dry Creek Trail which is the major link between the Mary Carter Greenway and the High Line Canal
